What's a good reaction time?
Turn a fast test into fast aim
Reaction time is the gap between seeing an enemy and acting — the single most decisive trait in opening duels. This test measures a simple visual reaction; in a real match you also have to find, track and click a target, which is exactly what a reaction-based aim drill trains.
RELEVEL's Reflex drill turns this into reps: targets appear and you eliminate them as fast as you register them, at your exact sensitivity and FOV. Do it as part of a 5-minute warm-up and your first shot in-game gets noticeably faster.
Reaction FAQ
What is a good reaction time?
Average human visual reaction is ~250ms. Under 250ms is fast, under 200ms is excellent, and competitive FPS players often average 150–200ms.
How do I test my reaction time?
Click start, wait for green, then click as fast as you can. Clicking while it's red is a false start. We average five attempts for a reliable number.
Can I improve my reaction time?
Yes — it improves with regular practice, sleep and being warmed up. Reaction-based aim drills train the exact see-then-act loop this measures.
Why is my reaction time slower than expected?
Mouse and monitor latency, browser overhead and fatigue all add milliseconds. Use a wired mouse, a high-refresh monitor and warm up first for your best result.
